Role & Responsibilities
- Operate a variety of motorized and manual material handling equipment safely and efficiently to process orders and support warehouse operations
- Obtain and maintain required certifications in the safe operation of various material handling equipment types and battery changing procedures
- Utilize RF terminals to support company operating systems and inventory control procedures
- Adhere strictly to all Company, state, and OSHA safety rules, policies, and regulations, reporting any safety violations to supervisory personnel
- Meet established company safety, production, and service level standards
- Maintain regular and acceptable attendance while remaining flexible to work any designated shift and overtime as operational needs require
- Respond proactively to direction from leadership team, including Shift Coordinators and management staff
- Provide high-quality internal and external customer service per company standards
- Cross-train in other non-equipment operator job classifications and assist Maintenance as needed with motorized equipment projects
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record
- Ability to obtain any and all job-required DOT certifications
- Strong motor coordination skills to operate equipment safely in confined spaces
- Comfortable working at heights of up to thirty-two feet when operating Reach Trucks and similar warehouse equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Physical capability to stand, sit, squat, lift, and walk for the duration of scheduled shifts
Skills
Experience
Previous experience operating equipment in a warehouse environment is preferred. Familiarity with conventional distribution picking, packing, put-away, and replenishment procedures and processes is beneficial.
Education
No specific formal education requirement; however, candidates must demonstrate the ability to obtain job-required DOT certifications and operate RF terminal systems.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 20.40 to USD 21.85 per hour.
