Sephora Equipment Operator position in Olive Branch, MS – full-time warehouse role operating material handling equipment at distribution center.
Role & Responsibilities
- Operate various types of motorized and manual material handling equipment including powered industrial trucks, walkie riders, hand jacks, and carts to process orders and complete warehouse tasks
- Obtain and maintain required certifications for safe operation of material handling equipment and battery changing procedures
- Operate RF terminals in support of company operating systems and inventory control procedures
- Maintain compliance with all company, state, and OSHA safety rules, policies, and regulations; report safety violations to supervisory or management personnel
- Meet established company safety, production, and service level standards
- Maintain regular and acceptable attendance and adhere to flexible work schedules and overtime requirements as needed
- Respond to direction from leadership team including Shift Coordinators and management staff
- Provide high-quality internal and external customer service per company standards
- Cross-train in other non-equipment operator job classifications as needed
- Assist Maintenance department on projects requiring motorized material handling equipment support
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean motor vehicle record
- Ability to obtain all job-required DOT certifications
- Familiarity with conventional distribution picking, packing, put-away, and replenishment procedures
- Strong motor coordination skills to operate equipment safely in confined spaces
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort working at heights up to 32 feet when operating Reach Truck and similar equipment
- Ability to stand, sit, squat, and walk for the duration of scheduled shifts
Skills
Experience
Previous experience operating equipment in a warehouse environment is preferred. Entry-level candidates with transferable skills in distribution or warehouse operations are considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
