Equipment Operator role at Sephora distribution center in Olive Branch, MS. Hourly position operating material handling equipment. Full-time, $20.40–$21.85/hr.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Operate a variety of motorized and manual material handling equipment, including powered industrial trucks, walkie riders, hand jacks, and carts, to support warehouse distribution center operations
  • Use equipment to process orders and perform additional work as directed by management, including processing orders without equipment when business needs dictate
  • Operate RF terminals in support of company operating systems and inventory control procedures
  • Meet established company safety, production, and service level standards; follow all Company, state, and OSHA safety rules, policies, and regulations to ensure safe working practices
  • Report safety violations and potential safety violations to appropriate supervisory or management personnel and comply with all Company Loss Prevention policies and procedures
  • Maintain regular and acceptable attendance; maintain a flexible work schedule and adhere to requirements for working any designated shift and overtime as requested per business needs
  • Provide high-quality internal and external customer service per company standards
  • Cross-train in other non-equipment operator job classifications and assist Maintenance as needed on projects requiring motorized material handling equipment support
  • Attain and maintain required certification in the safe operation of various types of material handling equipment and battery changing procedures

Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license with clean motor vehicle record
  • Ability to obtain any and all job-required DOT certifications
  • Physical ability to stand, sit, squat, lift, and walk for the duration of scheduled shifts
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Comfort working at heights of up to thirty-two feet when operating reach trucks and other warehouse equipment
  • Strong motor coordination skills to safely operate equipment in tight quarters
  • Detail-oriented with flexibility to change and ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Ability to work closely and effectively with others in a way that promotes teamwork

Experience
