Role & Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks, walkie riders, hand jacks, and related material handling equipment in support of warehouse distribution operations
- Process customer orders using motorized equipment and perform manual material handling as directed by management and business requirements
- Obtain and maintain all required certifications for safe operation of various material handling equipment types and battery-changing procedures
- Operate RF terminals to support company operating systems, inventory control procedures, and order fulfillment accuracy
- Follow all OSHA, state, and company safety rules, policies, and regulations; report safety violations and potential hazards to supervisory personnel
- Meet established company safety, production, and service level standards consistently
- Comply with all company loss prevention policies and procedures
- Maintain regular and acceptable attendance as required; work flexible shifts and overtime as needed to meet operational demands
- Demonstrate high-quality internal and external customer service per company standards
- Cross-train in other non-equipment operator job classifications to support warehouse flexibility
- Assist maintenance personnel with projects requiring motorized material handling equipment support
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean motor vehicle record
- Ability to obtain any and all DOT certifications required for the position
- Familiarity with conventional distribution picking, packing, put-away, and replenishment procedures
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly during the scheduled shift
- Comfortable working at heights of up to 32 feet when operating reach trucks and similar warehouse equipment
- Ability to stand, sit, squat, and walk for the duration of scheduled shifts
- Ability to wear required safety equipment including harnesses and lanyards per OSHA and company regulations
Skills
Experience
Prior experience operating equipment in a warehouse environment is preferred. Beginner-level candidates with foundational logistics knowledge and a willingness to obtain required certifications are considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; formal logistics or warehouse training beneficial but not required.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 20.40 to USD 21.85 per hour.
