Role & Responsibilities

  • Operate various types of motorized and manual material handling equipment, including powered industrial trucks, walkie riders, hand jacks, and carts.
  • Attain and maintain certification for the safe operation of material handling equipment and battery changing procedures.
  • Process orders using equipment and perform tasks as directed by management.
  • Adhere to safety, production, and service level standards set by the company.
  • Operate RF terminals to support operating systems and inventory control procedures.
  • Comply with all safety rules, policies, and regulations, reporting any violations to management.
  • Maintain regular attendance and flexibility to work any designated shift and overtime as needed.
  • Provide high-quality internal and external customer service.
  • Cross-train in other non-equipment operator roles and assist maintenance as needed.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience operating equipment in a warehouse environment preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean motor vehicle record.
  • Familiarity with distribution picking, packing, put-away, and replenishment procedures.

Skills

Strong motor coordination skills for operating equipment safely in confined spaces. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Positive and enthusiastic demeanor. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Capability to obtain necessary DOT certifications.

Experience

Previous experience in a warehouse environment operating equipment is preferred.

Compensation

Starting base pay is $18.25 - $19.55 per hour. Certain work schedules may be eligible for shift differential pay.
