Equipment Operator role at Sephora Distribution Center in Avon, IN. Full-time position operating material handling equipment, $21.50–$23.00/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Operate motorized and manual material handling equipment safely and efficiently to process orders and support warehouse operations
- Obtain and maintain required certification in the safe operation of various types of material handling equipment and battery changing procedures
- Operate RF terminals in support of company operating systems and inventory control procedures
- Meet established company safety, production, and service level standards while adhering to all OSHA, state, and company safety policies and regulations
- Comply with company Loss Prevention policies and procedures
- Maintain regular and acceptable attendance with flexibility to work any designated shift and overtime as required by operational needs
- Provide high-quality internal and external customer service per company standards
- Cross-train in other non-equipment operator job classifications and assist Maintenance on motorized equipment projects as needed
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean motor vehicle record
- Familiarity with conventional distribution picking, packing, put-away, and replenishment procedures and processes
- Ability to obtain DOT certifications as required for the role
- Strong motor coordination skills to operate equipment safely in tight quarters
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Comfort working at heights up to 32 feet when operating reach trucks and similar equipment
- Ability to stand, sit, squat, and walk for the duration of scheduled shifts
Skills
Experience
Previous experience operating equipment in a warehouse environment is preferred. Entry-level candidates with strong motor coordination and willingness to obtain required certifications will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; no formal education requirement specified.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 21.50 to USD 23 per hour.
