Equipment Operator – Full-Time at Sephora Distribution Center in Avon, Indiana. Operate material handling equipment and support warehouse operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Operate various motorized and manual material handling equipment (powered industrial trucks, walkie riders, hand jacks) in accordance with safety protocols
- Process customer orders efficiently using assigned equipment and support inventory control procedures
- Attain and maintain required certifications for safe equipment operation and battery changing procedures
- Operate RF terminals to support company operating systems and inventory management
- Meet established company safety, production, and service level standards consistently
- Comply with all OSHA, state, and company safety regulations; report safety violations to supervisory personnel
- Maintain regular and acceptable attendance; adhere to flexible scheduling and overtime requirements as directed
- Provide high-quality internal and external customer service per company standards
- Cross-train in other non-equipment operator job classifications as needed
- Assist Maintenance team on projects requiring motorized equipment support
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean motor vehicle record
- Previous experience operating equipment in a warehouse environment (preferred)
- Familiarity with conventional distribution picking, packing, put-away, and replenishment procedures
- Ability to obtain DOT certifications as required for the role
- Strong motor coordination skills to operate equipment safely in confined spaces
- Detail-oriented mindset with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Positive and enthusiastic demeanor; ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
Skills
Experience
Beginner-level candidates are considered; previous warehouse equipment operation experience is preferred but not required. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to obtain necessary DOT certifications and adapt to operational demands.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; no formal education requirement specified.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 21.50 to USD 23 per hour.
