Sephora in Avon, IN is hiring an Equipment Operator (full-time) at its Omni-Channel Distribution Center. $21.50–$23.00/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Operate a variety of motorized and manual material handling equipment (e.g., powered industrial trucks, walkie riders, reach trucks, hand jacks, carts) to process orders and support DC production needs.
- Obtain and maintain required certifications for safe equipment operation and battery changing procedures; operate RF terminals to support inventory control and order processing.
- Meet established company safety, production and service level standards while complying with OSHA, state and Company safety and loss prevention policies.
- Process orders manually as required by business needs and cross-train in other non-equipment operator functions to maintain operational flexibility.
- Follow direction from shift coordinators and management, participate in maintenance projects requiring material handling equipment support, and provide high-quality internal and external customer service.
Qualifications
- Ability to attain required certifications for powered industrial trucks and DOT certifications as required by the role.
- Valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights up to 32 feet when operating reach trucks; able to stand, sit, squat and walk for the duration of the scheduled shift.
- Familiarity with conventional distribution processes (picking, packing, put-away, replenishment) preferred.
- Willingness to work designated shifts and overtime as required; maintain regular and acceptable attendance.

Experience
Entry-level role; previous experience operating warehouse equipment is preferred. Familiarity with distribution center workflows—picking, packing, put-away and replenishment—is advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 21.50 to USD 23 per hour.
