Sephora Avon, IN seeks an Equipment Operator at the Omni-Channel Distribution Center — full-time, $21.50–$23.00/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Operate a variety of motorized and manual material handling equipment (powered industrial trucks, walkie riders, reach trucks, hand jacks and carts) to process orders, put-away, replenishment and other warehouse tasks.
- Attain and maintain required equipment certifications and follow battery changing procedures.
- Use RF terminals to support company operating systems, inventory control and order processing.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA, state and company safety policies, including proper PPE, harness/lanyard use and reporting of hazards.
- Meet established safety, production and service-level targets and maintain regular, flexible attendance including designated shifts and overtime as required.
- Comply with company Loss Prevention policies and provide high-quality internal and external customer service.
- Cross-train into complementary DC functions and assist Maintenance on projects requiring motorized handling equipment support.
Qualifications
- Ability to obtain any/all job-required DOT certifications and equipment operator certifications.
- Valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and comfortable working at heights (up to 32 feet) when operating reach equipment.
- Familiarity with conventional distribution picking, packing, put-away and replenishment procedures preferred.
- Demonstrated attention to detail, strong motor coordination and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Skills
Experience
Entry-level position; previous experience operating warehouse equipment and familiarity with distribution center processes preferred but not required. Candidates must be willing to train and attain required certifications.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 21.50 to USD 23 per hour.
