Sephora Avon, IN — Equipment Operator (1st Shift, full-time) at Omni‑Channel Distribution Center. Hourly, $21.50/hr.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Operate a variety of motorized and manual material‑handling equipment (powered industrial trucks, walkie rider, reach truck, hand jack, carts) to process orders and support distribution center production needs.
  • Attain and maintain company-required certifications for safe equipment operation and battery‑changing procedures.
  • Use RF terminals to execute inventory control procedures, picking, packing, put‑away and replenishment tasks per operating system prompts.
  • Meet established safety, production and service level standards and adhere to OSHA, state and company safety policies and loss prevention procedures.
  • Process orders manually when equipment is not available and cross‑train in other warehouse job classifications as required.
  • Maintain regular attendance and flexible availability for assigned shifts and overtime; proactively respond to direction from shift coordinators and management.
  • Provide high‑quality internal and external customer service and assist Maintenance on projects requiring motorized handling equipment support.

Qualifications

  • Ability to attain required company equipment certifications and any necessary DOT certifications.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work safely at heights (up to approximately 32 feet) when operating reach trucks.
  • Comfort standing, walking, squatting and performing physical tasks for the duration of a scheduled shift.
  • Familiarity with conventional distribution workflows (picking, packing, put‑away, replenishment) preferred.

Experience
