Sephora seeks an Environmental Project Manager in Neuilly‑sur‑Seine, France to lead regional sustainability strategy and extra‑financial reporting for Europe.

Role & Responsibilities
- Develop, deploy and animate Sephora’s regional environmental strategy in line with global objectives, translating high‑level goals into operational plans and KPIs.
- Lead the operational roll‑out on key themes: energy strategy and carbon footprint reduction, waste management and circular solutions, and customer‑facing initiatives to promote responsible consumption (recycling, responsible product offerings).
- Coordinate and animate a network of country and functional referents across the Europe region to ensure alignment and delivery of agreed action plans.
- Collect, consolidate and verify environmental data from regional markets; manage extra‑financial reporting, data audits and performance analysis for the Europe zone.
- Represent Sephora in cross‑company and industry working groups (including LVMH initiatives) to share best practices and generate synergies.
- Provide environmental expertise to internal functions—logistics, supply chain, retail and marketing (ecodesign), and sourcing—to integrate sustainability requirements and reduce impacts.
- Design and deliver training, internal communication tools and change management activities to raise employee awareness and build capability.
- Manage external service providers and lead cross‑functional projects to ensure timely delivery and budget control.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in sustainable development, environmental engineering, or equivalent (business school or engineering degree with sustainability specialisation).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within a corporate environmental or sustainability team, including ownership of environmental reporting or energy management (preferably in B2C/retail environments).
- Proven experience building and implementing action plans to meet regulatory and corporate requirements in a retail context.
- Strong project management capability with demonstrated experience setting KPIs, planning, measuring impact and reporting results.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; ability to coordinate matrixed networks and work across functions and countries.
- Analytical rigour, budget management experience and the capacity to make data‑driven decisions.
- Fluent English (professional working proficiency); comfortable working in an international, dynamic and complex environment.

Minimum 5 years in a corporate environmental or sustainability function, with direct responsibility for reporting or energy management; prior experience in retail or B2C preferred.
Education
Master’s degree in sustainable development, environmental management, engineering or a business degree with a sustainability specialisation.
