Sephora Singapore seeks an Engineering Intern (July–Dec 2026) to support mobile app development and payment integration.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and testing of new features for Sephora’s e‑commerce mobile applications (iOS and Android).
- Support bug triage, resolution and performance optimisation to improve application stability and user experience.
- Contribute to the Bank BIN Promo project: implement and integrate payment‑method based offers enabling customer benefits during checkout.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders (product, design, QA, operations) to translate requirements into technical deliverables.
- Deliver project work from conception to completion and present outcomes to relevant functional teams as part of the Sephora ASPIRE programme.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in SQL and ability to write queries for data validation and troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge or coursework in mobile application development (iOS/Android) or mobile testing methodologies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with multiple stakeholders.
- Demonstrated curiosity, creativity and a self‑starter attitude with a willingness to learn in a fast‑moving retail and tech environment.
- Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a relevant tertiary programme (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems) — internship status required.

Beginner level — open to students or recent graduates. Prior internship or project experience in software or mobile development is advantageous but not required.

Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's or Master's programme in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related discipline.
