Sephora (Los Angeles) seeks an Employee Relations Partner — lead investigations and advise retail leaders. Full-time, remote-eligible role in the NW & SW region.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead confidential workplace investigations into complaints and potential policy violations, ensuring thorough fact-finding, documentation and legally compliant resolution.
- Provide expert, trusted counsel to retail leaders and HR partners on employee relations matters, performance and conduct issues, and progressive disciplinary action.
- Analyze ER trends and data to identify systemic issues, recommend preventative strategies and partner with stakeholders to improve processes and culture.
- Design and deliver training, guidance and resources for managers and employees on ER policies, compliance and best practices.
- Contribute to cross-functional ER and HR initiatives, policy development and enterprise programs that support retention, engagement and risk mitigation.
- Manage complex or escalated employee relations cases with integrity, confidentiality and brand-protecting judgement; travel to market up to 20% as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years in a dedicated Employee Relations role or equivalent HR position.
- Minimum 4 years leading workplace investigations, including Employment/Title VII matters.
- At least 3 years' experience in conduct and performance management advising leaders.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; advanced HR certifications or legal coursework a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgement and manage sensitive matters with professionalism.

Experience
A minimum of four years in a dedicated Employee Relations capacity with at least four years conducting workplace investigations (Employment / Title VII) and three years managing performance and conduct issues. Experience advising leaders, delivering training, and partnering on enterprise HR initiatives is required.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 124,695 to USD 139,365 per annum.
