Sephora UK seeks Ecommerce Optimisation Specialist in London for 12-month fixed-term contract. Lead site merchandising and search strategy across omni-channel beauty retail.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead site merchandising and search strategy year-round with focused attention during peak trading periods
- Train and guide supporting team members to deliver commercial merchandising aligned with business priorities
- Support trading calendar promotions, brand launches, and product releases through strategic merchandising and messaging with personalisation
- Utilise merchandising tools to optimise product listings, search results, and cross-sell areas
- Review dashboards regularly and support innovation in reporting to measure impact on key business objectives
- Track performance KPIs and identify opportunities for optimisation and improvement
- Act as key liaison with Fredhopper and partner vendors, maintaining strong relationships to drive innovation
- Support delivery and analysis of A/B testing and personalisation initiatives alongside the Senior Optimisation and Personalisation Manager
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of proven ecommerce experience
- Expertise in site merchandising, A/B testing, and personalisation
- Direct experience with Dynamic Yield and/or Fredhopper preferred
- Technical proficiency with ability to adapt quickly to new tools
- Strong analytical skills and experience with ecommerce analytics tools
- Exceptional organisational and project management skills
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities

Experience
Minimum 3 years of ecommerce experience with demonstrated expertise in site merchandising, A/B testing, and personalisation strategies. Direct hands-on experience with Dynamic Yield and/or Fredhopper is preferred. Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities in fast-paced retail environments.
