Sephora UK seeks Ecommerce Controlling Manager in London. Lead financial performance, forecasting, and team management for e-commerce growth.
Role & Responsibilities
- Own and present e-commerce P&L to senior leadership with insight-led storytelling
- Analyse performance versus forecast and prior year to identify risks, opportunities, and growth levers
- Lead end-to-end forecasting cycles (monthly, budget, long-term) and build strategic scenarios
- Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders
- Act as trusted business partner to e-commerce and marketing teams supporting commercial decisions
- Evaluate marketing campaign effectiveness and ROI, driving optimization and stronger returns
- Build and track key financial and operational KPIs across the e-commerce business
- Partner cross-functionally to ensure accurate, timely reporting aligned with UK and Group requirements
- Support and oversee key projects with clear financial impact tracking
- Identify risks early and develop mitigation plans to protect performance
- Lead and develop a high-performing team fostering collaborative, ownership-driven culture
- Continuously improve financial processes, tools, and working methods for efficiency
Qualifications
- Degree in Finance, Economics or related field
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA certification (or equivalent)
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in financial planning, modelling, and analysis
- Experience within retail or e-commerce environments
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with complex data sets
- Ability to generate clear, actionable insights that drive business decisions
- Experience partnering with multiple stakeholders and influencing at different levels
- Strong organisational skills with ability to prioritise in fast-paced environment

Experience
Minimum 5 years of proven experience in financial planning, modelling, and analysis, ideally within retail or e-commerce sectors. Demonstrated track record of partnering with cross-functional teams and influencing senior stakeholders through data-driven insights.
Education
Degree in Finance, Economics, or related field. Professional accountancy qualifications (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) or equivalent are desirable.
