Sephora Canada is hiring a District Manager in Surrey, BC (BC Mainland) to lead 11 stores and drive sales, talent development and operational excellence.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a district of stores (currently 11) to deliver sales growth, profitability and exceptional client experience.
- Recruit, interview and develop Store Directors and management talent; establish succession plans and deliver ongoing coaching and performance appraisals.
- Conduct regular store visits with Store Directors to identify business opportunities and ensure operational standards and loss prevention compliance.
- Drive district-level sales planning through accurate forecasting, staffing alignment, payroll management and monthly P&L analysis to control variable costs and increase profit.
- Ensure completion of mandatory product knowledge and company training programmes for all store teams; design individual development plans to support retention.
- Partner with HR on employee relations matters and with cross-functional corporate teams (Merchandising, Inventory, Finance, Store Operations, Loss Prevention, IT) to meet district needs.
- Champion innovation, share best practices across the organization and model Sephora values in interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of multi‑store management experience in a complex retail environment or demonstrated exceptional performance as a Sephora Store Director.
- Proven track record hiring, developing and retaining high-performing store leadership and teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Word and Excel and comfortable using retail reporting and forecasting tools.
- Excellent time management with the ability to prioritize multiple, changing priorities and work remotely across the district.

Experience
3–5 years of progressive multi‑store retail management experience in a complex business environment, or equivalent proven success as a Store Director at Sephora.
Education
Post‑secondary diploma or degree in Business, Retail Management or a related discipline preferred; equivalent combination of education and demonstrable retail leadership experience accepted.
Workplace
This position is based in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada, within easy reach of Vancouver.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 126,000 to CAD 141,000 per annum.
