Sephora District Asset Protection Manager
Sephora seeks a District Asset Protection Manager in Troy, MI to lead shrink reduction, investigations and AP strategy across the Great Lakes district.

Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute district-wide asset protection strategies to reduce shrink and drive sustained operational improvement.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate safety and profit risks; provide targeted support to high-shrink and high-risk locations, including Extreme Shrink stores.
- Recruit, hire, train and lead a district team of Asset Protection Partners, fostering accountability, learning and performance.
- Design and deliver training programs for asset protection and store teams covering safety, audits, shrink reduction, and AP best practices.
- Conduct regular store visits, audits and assessments to ensure compliance with asset protection policies and procedures.
- Lead and oversee investigations into shrink, internal theft, fraud and criminal activity with discretion and legal compliance.
- Leverage exception-based reporting and analytics to identify trends and prioritise mitigation activities.
- Ensure effective operation and utilisation of AP systems including CCTV, alarms and physical locking mechanisms.
- Build and maintain external partnerships with law enforcement, mall security, property management and retail industry stakeholders to combat Organized Retail Crime (ORC).
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Store Leadership, Human Resources and corporate teams to resolve AP matters and influence policy.
Qualifications
- Minimum five years of asset protection or loss prevention experience in a multi-unit retail environment or equivalent leadership role.
- Proven investigative experience handling sensitive and confidential matters with integrity and discretion.
- Demonstrated crisis management skills and ability to operate effectively in high-risk situations.
- Strong leadership skills with experience building, coaching and directing AP teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; experience presenting to senior leadership.
- Proven analytical capability to interpret data and translate findings into risk mitigation strategies.
- Ability to develop policies, procedures and clear operational plans.
- Strong interviewing skills; Wicklander-Zulawski certification or formal behavioral interview training preferred.
- Working knowledge of criminal and civil law as it applies to the retail environment.
- Capacity and willingness to travel approximately 75% (local, overnight and out-of-town travel).

Education
Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, business administration or related field preferred; equivalent combination of relevant education and progressive AP/loss prevention experience will be considered.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 99,025 to USD 110,675 per annum.
