Sephora Canada seeks a District Asset Protection Manager in Toronto to lead shrink reduction and loss prevention across Southwestern Ontario (CAD$87,900–$98,300).

Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute asset protection strategies focused on reducing shrink in high-shrink stores
  • Analyze asset protection activities and performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities
  • Conduct comprehensive store evaluations and oversee operational excellence and asset protection programs
  • Lead training sessions for store employees and leadership teams on shrink awareness and loss prevention tactics
  • Investigate suspected internal dishonesty, fraud, and criminal activity using CCTV systems and exception-based reporting
  • Conduct employee interviews and secure admissions in accordance with company guidelines for investigative cases
  • Ensure all store asset protection systems including CCTV, alarms, and locks are operational and properly maintained
  • Recruit, manage, and develop Asset Protection Partners and Team Leads across the district
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with District Managers, store leadership, and Human Resources
  • Conduct root cause analysis before and after physical inventories to evaluate store performance
  • Develop comprehensive shrink reduction plans with clear year-over-year targets

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–5 years of progressive asset protection or loss prevention experience in multi-unit retail environments
  • Strong management and leadership capabilities with proven ability to collaborate across store operations and cross-functional teams
  • Proven track record managing sensitive asset protection issues with ethical integrity and commitment to proactive loss prevention
  • Proficiency with computer technology including asset protection applications, MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and retail store systems
  • Formal training and certification in Wicklander-Zulawski interview techniques
  • Ability to work routinely in a fragrance-filled environment
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience
