Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute districtwide asset protection strategies to reduce shrink and drive sustainable operational improvements across multiple Sephora locations.
- Identify, assess and mitigate safety and profit risks; provide targeted support to high‑shrink and high‑risk stores including Extreme Shrink locations.
- Recruit, hire, train and lead a district team of Asset Protection Partners, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous learning and high performance.
- Design and deliver training programs for store teams and Asset Protection Partners on safety, shrink reduction, audits and best practices.
- Conduct regular store visits, audits and operational assessments to ensure compliance with asset protection policies and procedures.
- Lead and oversee investigations into shrink, internal theft, fraud and criminal activity with discretion and adherence to legal and ethical standards.
- Leverage exception‑based reporting and analytics to identify trends, prioritize interventions and measure program effectiveness.
- Oversee the functionality and proper use of asset protection systems (CCTV, alarms, locking mechanisms) and coordinate required maintenance.
- Build and maintain external partnerships with law enforcement, mall security and property management to support Organized Retail Crime (ORC) initiatives.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Store Leadership, Human Resources and corporate teams to resolve asset protection matters and develop policy.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of asset protection or loss prevention experience in a multi‑unit retail environment or equivalent leadership role.
- Proven investigative experience handling sensitive, confidential matters with discretion and integrity.
- Demonstrated crisis management capability and experience navigating high‑risk situations.
- Proven leadership skills with a track record of building, coaching and developing proactive asset protection teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presenting to senior leadership.
- Ability to analyze data and trends to formulate risk mitigation strategies and operational improvements.
- Familiarity with criminal and civil law as applied to retail operations; ability to develop policies and procedures.
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 75% for local, overnight and out‑of‑town assignments.

Experience
At least 5 years of progressive asset protection or loss prevention experience within a multi‑unit retail environment, including hands‑on investigations, team leadership and program implementation.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in criminal justice, business administration or a related discipline preferred.
