Sephora is hiring a full-time Distribution Center Specialist at its Mississippi Distribution Center in Olive Branch, Mississippi. The role supports distribution operations, systems, inventory movement, associate training, and safety, with evening or weekend availability and overtime potentially required; target pay is $20.40–$21.85 per hour, with actual pay dependent on qualifications, experience, market conditions, and other position or location factors.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support wave planning, delivery scheduling, order tracking, reporting, research, administrative tasks, and WMS tickets in accordance with established procedures.
- Train floor associates in preferred methods and procedures.
- Support inventory movement by scanning, putting away, and accurately placing products as needed.
- Follow company, state, and OSHA safety guidelines, wear required protective equipment, and raise concerns about unsafe conditions.
- Follow Loss Prevention policies and maintain proper work attire to safeguard products and people.
- Maintain reliable attendance and a flexible schedule, including designated shifts and overtime as needed.
- Stand, walk, sit, squat, and lift throughout the shift, including safely lifting up to 50 pounds consistently.
Qualifications
- Experience with WMS or similar systems and working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access, with the ability to learn new tools quickly.
- Apply basic math, attention to detail, and sound judgment to research issues, solve problems, and take initiative.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with associates, vendors, and leaders while providing strong internal and external customer service.
- Manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision, adapt to change, and work effectively across teams and operational functions.
- Meet performance and attendance expectations while maintaining a positive, professional demeanor and a growth mindset.
- Availability may be required for evenings or weekends.
