Sephora seeks a full-time Distribution Center Specialist for its Las Vegas distribution center to handle operational office and clerical duties such as wave planning, delivery scheduling, order tracking, auditing, and reporting, while supporting procedures, safety, and associate training. Starting base pay is $22.15–$23.70 per hour, with certain schedules eligible for shift differential pay.
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform operational office and clerical duties, including wave planning, delivery scheduling, order tracking, auditing, paperwork management, and departmental reporting, according to the assigned department and function.
- Apply thorough knowledge of the assigned department’s operations.
- Follow company standard operating procedures to ensure work integrity and production output.
- Train floor associates in departmental methods and standard operating procedures.
- Respond proactively to direction from Shift Coordinators, management, and other departmental personnel.
- Follow company, state, and OSHA safety rules and policies, including proper work attire; report safety violations and potential violations to supervisory or management personnel.
- Comply with company Loss Prevention policies and procedures, including proper work attire.
- Maintain regular and acceptable attendance.
- Maintain a flexible schedule, work any designated shift, and work overtime as requested to meet business and operational needs.
- Provide high-quality internal and external customer service.
- Stand, sit, squat, lift, and/or walk for the duration of the scheduled shift, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications
- Previous experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) or menu-driven applications, or the ability to learn the system.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Basic math skills.
- Effective problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work independently.
- Detail-oriented.
- Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with associates and vendors at multiple levels, in person, by phone, and in writing.
- Excellent customer service skills.
