Role & Responsibilities

  • Execute wave planning, delivery scheduling and order tracking using the assigned Warehouse Management System to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
  • Prepare, audit and manage clerical documentation and departmental reports to ensure data integrity and compliance with SOPs.
  • Train and coach floor associates on departmental preferred methods and standard operating procedures to maintain consistent production output.
  • Proactively respond to direction from shift coordinators and management; escalate operational issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Adhere to and enforce company, state and OSHA safety regulations and loss-prevention policies; report hazards and potential violations.
  • Provide high-quality internal and external customer service and collaborate cross-functionally to support business needs and workload fluctuations.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment preferred.
  • Working knowledge of a Warehouse Management System (WMS) or ability to learn menu-driven inventory systems rapidly.
  • Proficiency with MS Excel, MS Word and Outlook; ability to produce professional-level correspondence and departmental reports.
  • Basic math skills, strong attention to detail, and demonstrable problem-solving ability.
  • Capacity to work flexible schedules, designated shifts and overtime as operational needs require.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (stand, sit, squat, walk) for the duration of a scheduled shift.
