Sephora – Distribution Center Specialist II, Essex MD. Full‑time DC operations role at Maryland Distribution Center; $21.00–$22.45/hr.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Execute operational office and clerical duties for the distribution center including wave planning, delivery scheduling, order tracking, auditing, paperwork management and departmental reporting.
  • Operate and maintain data integrity within the assigned Warehouse Management System (WMS) and related menu‑driven applications.
  • Train floor associates on departmental standard operating procedures and preferred methods to ensure consistent production output.
  • Respond proactively to direction from shift coordinators and management; escalate issues and support continuous workflow.
  • Adhere to Company, state and OSHA safety rules and Loss Prevention policies; report safety or security concerns promptly.
  • Provide high‑quality internal customer service to associates and external vendors, and prepare professional correspondence and operational documentation.
  • Maintain regular attendance, flexible availability for variable shifts and required overtime; assist with cross‑functional tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment preferred.
  • Proven ability to operate a Warehouse Management System (WMS) or aptitude to learn menu‑driven inventory systems quickly.
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (stand, sit, squat, walk for the duration of shift).
  • Strong attention to detail, basic math skills, and effective verbal and written communication.
  • Capacity to work independently, adapt to shifting priorities, and receive/give feedback constructively.

Entry‑level role; previous distribution center or warehouse experience is preferred but not required. Demonstrated experience with WMS or similar systems is advantageous.
