Inventory Control Specialist position at Sephora Distribution Center in Avon, Indiana. Full-time entry-level role managing warehouse operations, inventory auditing, and order tracking.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute waveplanning, delivery scheduling, and order tracking protocols to optimize distribution center efficiency
- Conduct inventory audits and manage related paperwork and departmental reporting
- Train floor associates on departmental procedures and standard operating practices
- Maintain compliance with company standard operating procedures, safety regulations, and OSHA requirements
- Respond proactively to direction from Shift Coordinators, management, and departmental personnel
- Provide high-quality internal and external customer service according to company standards
- Manage multiple priorities flexibly while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working in a distribution center or warehouse environment (preferred)
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management System (WMS) or menu-driven applications, or demonstrated ability to learn such systems
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical warehouse tasks (standing, sitting, squatting, walking for scheduled shift duration)

Beginner-level position; previous warehouse or distribution center experience is preferred but not required. Candidates must demonstrate ability to work independently, follow established procedures, and respond effectively to supervisory direction.
