Role & Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations of a departmental area within the Utah Distribution Center, including direct oversight of hourly associates and temporary agency staff.
• Spend approximately 75% of time on the operational floor to coach, engage and develop team members; provide real-time performance feedback.
• Plan and prioritize work to meet daily productivity, quality, safety and housekeeping targets and ensure smooth shift transitions.
• Set and communicate clear productivity expectations, monitor KPIs, and take corrective action to meet operational goals.
• Identify and drive process improvements to increase efficiency, quality and service; partner with leadership to implement change.
• Administer policies and counsel associates on performance or behavioral issues; support employee engagement and retention strategies.
• Own safety accountability for the department by driving safety programs, recognition and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of operations experience in a high‑tech distribution center or comparable fulfillment environment.
• Minimum 2 years of people leadership experience with demonstrated ability to coach and develop hourly teams.
• Flexible availability to work nights, overnights, weekends, early mornings and holidays as required.
• Strong verbal communication and multitasking skills; comfortable using warehouse computer/store systems.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and to stand/walk the warehouse floor for the duration of shifts.

Skills

Experience

3–5 years of distribution center or fulfillment operations experience, including at least 2 years of frontline supervisory or team‑lead responsibility.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or certification in logistics, supply chain or related field preferred.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 75,000 to USD 84,000 per annum.
