The Distribution Center Operations Supervisor leads a department’s daily operations at Sephora’s Mississippi Distribution Center in Olive Branch, managing associates, workflow, safety, productivity, quality, housekeeping, and shift transitions. This permanent position is onsite and includes a first-shift schedule; the annual base salary range is $75,140–$83,980, with potential bonus eligibility.
Role & Responsibilities
- Supervise and support associates and workflow coordinators through a strong on-floor presence to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Assign and monitor daily work to meet productivity, accuracy, and safety goals.
- Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations, addressing behavioral or performance issues as needed.
- Ensure consistent application of company policies and standard operating procedures.
- Promote a safe work environment through training, accountability, and recognition.
- Drive associate engagement and development through hands-on leadership, clear communication, and support.
- Partner with cross-functional teams and staffing agencies to align labor plans with operational needs.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality.
- Prepare for smooth shift transitions by prioritizing workflow and clearly communicating expectations.
- Plan and supervise the day-to-day operations of a Distribution Center department to meet established timelines and operational goals for productivity, quality, safety, and housekeeping.
