Sephora Canada is hiring a Desktop Analyst (Contract) in Toronto — hybrid IT role supporting Windows, macOS, Jamf Pro and collaboration systems.
Role & Responsibilities
- Image Windows 11 desktops and laptops via PXE, install drivers and standard applications, and prepare devices for end-user delivery.
- Erase, reinstall, and configure macOS using Recovery; manage Mac endpoints through Jamf Pro and handle FileVault recovery key escrow.
- Administer Active Directory objects (user accounts, security groups, distribution lists, computer objects) to support provisioning and lifecycle workflows.
- Administer Microsoft Exchange / Exchange Online mailboxes, distribution lists and shared mailboxes; troubleshoot Outlook client and mail flow issues.
- Troubleshoot end-user connectivity issues (VPN, Wi‑Fi, IP, DNS, DHCP) and escalate to network team where required.
- Install, configure and troubleshoot networked printers, print queues and multifunction devices.
- Set up and troubleshoot docking stations, multi‑monitor configurations and standard peripherals.
- Support audio/video conferencing platforms and room systems (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Logitech Rally, Zoom Rooms, Microsoft Teams Rooms).
- Perform basic iPhone deployment and setup, including corporate email, Wi‑Fi, VPN and standard mobile applications.
- Support SharePoint sites, document libraries and OneDrive for Business at the end‑user level, including access and sync troubleshooting.
- Provide white‑glove, in‑person and remote support to end users (including executives), respond to incidents and service requests within SLAs and document resolutions in the knowledge base.
- Collaborate across IT teams (network, server, security, identity) and business stakeholders to resolve cross‑functional issues.
- Manage new‑hire onboarding device setup and equipment recovery during offboarding.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of hands‑on desktop or end‑user computing support experience in an enterprise environment.
- Proven experience imaging Windows 11 systems via PXE and supporting Windows desktop environments.
- Experience administering macOS endpoints, including erase/reinstall workflows and Jamf Pro management; familiarity with FileVault key management.
- Strong Active Directory administration skills (users, groups, OUs, computer objects).
- Experience administering Microsoft Exchange or Exchange Online and troubleshooting Outlook connectivity.
- Practical experience supporting Zoom and Microsoft Teams conferencing and room systems (Logitech Rally, Zoom Rooms, Microsoft Teams Rooms).
- Ability to troubleshoot end‑user networking issues (VPN, Wi‑Fi, IP, DNS, DHCP) and printer/print server environments.
- Excellent customer‑service orientation, clear verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work on‑site and remotely.
- Capacity to lift and move computer equipment up to 40 lbs.

Experience
At least 3 years of enterprise desktop or end‑user computing support experience, including hands‑on imaging, macOS and Windows endpoint management, and collaboration with cross‑functional IT teams.
Education
Post‑secondary diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field — or equivalent professional experience.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 66,500 to CAD 78,000 per annum.
