Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and develop the departmental team to deliver outstanding customer experiences and commercial results; act as a visible role model of the Sephora Attitude.
  • Support and advise team members across Make Up, Skincare, Hair Care and Fragrance with product knowledge and selling techniques.
  • Manage day-to-day floor operations: task delegation, staff induction, rostering, training organisation and performance follow-up.
  • Oversee full product handling cycle: receiving goods, stock storage, booking out, returns, tester management and replenishment.
  • Execute and supervise inventories to ensure optimal availability and stock accuracy; maintain inventory on schedule.
  • Responsible for opening/closing procedures, cash register closing and adherence to operational audit rules.
  • Monitor department expenses, commercial KPIs and contribute to achieving monthly and annual sales targets, including YOY growth.
  • Collaborate with Visual Merchandising, brands and store teams on in-store activations, pricing, product refill and Click & Collect support.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in the relevant beauty department with proven retail leadership.
  • Demonstrable experience managing stock operations, inventories and store-level operational routines.
  • Proven ability to coach teams, communicate targets and drive sales performance in a customer-focused environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen with familiarity of retail KPIs (e.g., MS, IPT, AVB, CR) and budget/expense monitoring.
  • Fluent in English or the country’s native language (in Germany: German); excellent verbal communication skills.

Experience
