Sephora recruits a Demand Planner in Saran, France—a fixed-term maternity cover role in supply chain forecasting and S&OP coordination.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Establish and adjust weekly sales forecasts by analyzing market factors, economic context, and seasonal trends
  • Validate historical data accuracy within forecasting systems and document exceptional sales occurrences
  • Analyze forecast accuracy metrics and optimize sales forecasting models based on influencing factors
  • Develop strategies for managing forecasts of discontinued or overstocked products
  • Analyze promotional impact on sales and determine stock requirements for planned events
  • Manage new product launches and limited-edition items within the forecasting tool
  • Monitor performance across different markets and adjust replenishment according to actual demand
  • Lead meetings with local Supply Chain teams to coordinate market activities and strategic initiatives
  • Align sales forecasts with purchasing budgets defined by Finance and simulate demand scenarios
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of forecasting processes and supply chain efficiency
  • Participate in the rollout of new sales forecasting tools

Qualifications

  • Master's degree (BAC+5) in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Engineering
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Demand Planning
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency with numerical data
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Fluent English to interact with international stakeholders
  • Retail experience highly valued
