Sephora San Francisco — Data Insights Manager (Hybrid). Lead Client Services performance insights, reporting and AI-enabled analytics to drive measurable outcomes.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain and own performance reporting, dashboards and regular insight cadences for Client Services across channels and platforms.
  • Translate quantitative and qualitative findings into prioritized recommendations with measurable outcomes and business cases (ROI/benefit models).
  • Design and implement measurement frameworks that link operational changes to client experience, efficiency and cost drivers.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Technology, Product, Data Platform, Operations and other stakeholders to define requirements, align data definitions and support initiative delivery.
  • Quantify impact and track initiatives from launch through adoption and outcomes; ensure dependencies and trade-offs are documented.
  • Represent the voice of Client Services in roadmap and prioritization forums and present insights, risks and trade-offs to Senior Leadership.
  • Enable and iterate on AI-powered insights by configuring, monitoring and improving AI-enabled features in Client Services tools; validate outputs and define success metrics.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5–8+ years analyzing large quantitative and qualitative data sets to identify trends, opportunities and risks.
  • 5–8+ years using data analysis tools including SQL with ability to write intermediate-level queries for data extraction.
  • 5–8+ years designing and implementing process improvements for complex, large-scale projects.
  • 2–3+ years working with AI-enabled analytics tools (e.g., conversation analytics) to monitor performance and translate learnings into process or workflow changes.
  • Proven ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable business insights and to build persuasive business cases.
  • Excellent communication skills with experience presenting to senior leadership and collaborating across multiple functions.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 117,895 to USD 131,765 per annum.
