Role & Responsibilities
- Define and enforce data governance, structuring standards and data quality controls across the European application ecosystem.
- Ensure data accuracy by identifying inconsistencies and anomalies between systems and driving corrective action plans with local and central teams.
- Own inter-application data flows and application interfaces; guarantee reliable, secure exchanges and collaborate with technical teams on evolutions.
- Design, develop and maintain BI reporting and dashboards; standardize KPIs, visualisation practices and performance monitoring.
- Gather and translate business reporting requirements into actionable dashboards and self-service analytics support for users.
- Coordinate PMO activities and ensure alignment of data, indicators and standards across tool-development projects.
- Act as primary interface with the Director of Operational Excellence to contribute to process structuring and global performance measurement.
- Lead international coordination with country teams to align practices, manage data correction timelines and deploy automation for quality checks.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for processes and tools and manage a small team to deliver the governance roadmap.
Qualifications
- Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification.
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in data governance, data quality, BI or data management — ideally within retail or large-scale distribution; consulting experience is a strong asset.
- Proven track record creating dashboards and delivering cross‑functional reporting solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multi‑project, matrix environments (PMO, IT, business stakeholders).
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent structuring and problem‑solving skills.
- Leadership experience with the capacity to coordinate and motivate cross‑border teams.
- Fluent English required; additional modern languages (e.g., French) are a plus.

Minimum 8 years in roles focused on data governance, data quality, BI or data management, with proven experience in retail or large distribution environments; prior consulting experience is advantageous. Experience leading cross‑functional programmes and delivering dashboards/reporting at scale is required.
