Data Analyst, Supply Chain position at Sephora in Maryland. Permanent hybrid role supporting distribution center analytics with SQL and WMS expertise.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Leverage end-to-end operational process knowledge and automated systems knowledge (WMS, WES, WCS) to assist with data collection and analysis across the DC network
  • Utilize SQL to build data models and develop reports that support distribution center operations
  • Support a foundational understanding of WMS/WES system configurations and provide data validation for development and reporting platforms
  • Assemble large, complex datasets meeting both functional and non-functional business requirements
  • Collaborate to identify, design, and implement internal process improvements including data re-architecting, optimization of data delivery, and automation of manual processes
  • Build analytical tools to provide actionable insights on key business performance metrics including operational efficiency
  • Partner with stakeholders including Engineering, Operations, and Leadership teams to resolve data-related technical issues
  • Travel to other distribution centers to support initiatives (estimated 3 times per year)
  • Provide data and reports supporting all distribution centers in the Sephora DC network

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of technical data experience with distribution center systems and data exports
  • Proficiency with Oracle Data Integrator, Oracle SQL, and SQL
  • Knowledge of WMS/WES/WCS system table structures and LextEdit
  • Experience with Order Management and Middleware System interfaces
  • Proficiency with ThoughtSpot for data visualization and analytics
  • Working knowledge of distribution center operational practices and procedures
  • Full understanding of supply chain and WMS/WCS/WES data concepts
  • Experience working with both Dotcom and Retail Distribution Center systems and operations

Experience

4+ years of technical data experience with distribution center systems, data exports, and reporting. Demonstrated ability to work effectively both individually and within teams in a multitasking, fast-paced environment. Proven experience working directly and collaboratively with IT, Distribution Center Operations, and Leadership, building effective relationships with personnel at all levels.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 82,000 to USD 92,000 per annum.
