Sephora — Paris La Défense: Apprenticeship Data Analyst (Power BI). Master-level alternance for a 12–24 month work-study in IT & BI.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide Tier-1 support to business users for Power BI report creation and troubleshooting.
- Translate business requests into technical specifications under tutor supervision and assist in delivering BI solutions.
- Design and develop interactive Power BI reports and dashboards following best-practice visualisation and modelling principles.
- Contribute to data model design and optimisation for large-volume datasets and concurrent user environments.
- Draft and maintain documentation, user guides, tutorials and training materials to promote SelfBI adoption.
- Participate in non‑regression testing of reports and datasets and help automate quality controls.
- Monitor Power BI Service updates, run proofs of concept (POCs) for new features and propose improvements to recurring needs.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Master 2 programme (engineering, business school or equivalent) and eligible for an alternance/apprenticeship contract.
- Basic proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query and Power BI Service.
- Foundational SQL skills and knowledge of relational databases; familiarity with ETL concepts.
- Interest or experience with cloud analytics platforms (GCP/BigQuery is a plus).
- Strong curiosity, capacity to learn quickly and eagerness to work with large data volumes.
- Good interpersonal skills, service orientation and ability to collaborate in a multi‑stakeholder environment.
- Fluent English (spoken and written) for international projects.

Experience
Beginner — academic projects or a prior internship in data analysis or Power BI development is an advantage; this role is designed for a Master-level student entering a professional BI environment.
Education
Master's-level student (M2) in engineering, business school or equivalent, enrolled and eligible for a 12- or 24-month alternance/apprenticeship contract.
