Sephora UK Data Analyst, 12-month contract in London. Support eCommerce and digital teams through analytics and reporting.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain dashboards and reporting tracking key eCommerce and digital performance metrics including traffic, engagement, conversion and campaign performance
- Analyse customer, website and trading data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement
- Support eCommerce, Digital Marketing and CRM teams with data analysis and reporting requirements
- Use Google Analytics, Quantum Metric and other digital platforms to provide actionable insights and recommendations
- Translate data and findings into clear, accessible summaries for diverse stakeholders
- Deliver regular weekly, monthly and ad hoc reports to support business performance reviews
- Support the accuracy and integrity of digital reporting and tracking systems
- Create data visualisations using Power BI and other reporting tools to enhance data accessibility
- Conduct competitor and market analysis to inform commercial decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on testing, measurement and optimisation initiatives
- Maintain high standards of data accuracy and attention to detail across all reporting outputs
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and enhance business insights
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' experience in eCommerce, Digital or Retail Analytics
- Demonstrated proficiency with data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Google Data Studio or equivalent platforms
- Confident and practical experience with digital analytics tools including Google Analytics, Quantum Metric or equivalent
- Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Natural curiosity and problem-solving mindset for uncovering data-driven opportunities
- Highly analytical and detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years' experience in eCommerce, Digital or Retail Analytics. Experience within beauty, retail or another consumer-facing business would be advantageous. Exposure to competitor benchmarking and market analysis tools, as well as working with BigQuery and SQL for data analysis and customer segmentation, would strengthen a candidacy.
