Sephora seeks a Corner Manager in Odense, Denmark to lead the Magasin Odense corner — people, commercial performance and operations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead the Magasin Odense corner’s daily operations, ensuring flawless opening/closing procedures, cash management and compliance with Sephora audit rules.
  • Manage, develop and coach Assistant Managers and sales teams through regular appraisals, induction and targeted training to drive engagement and retention.
  • Own commercial performance: achieve monthly and annual sales targets, drive year‑on‑year growth and implement actions informed by KPIs (IPT, AVB, Conversion Rate, Market Share).
  • Design and enforce visual merchandising standards and in‑store activations to maximise category performance and customer conversion.
  • Create staff schedules and daily deployment plans (zoning) to ensure optimal floor coverage and service delivery.
  • Oversee stock and goods management from receipt to storage, including inventories, write‑offs, returns and tester control to preserve availability and margin.
  • Monitor customer feedback, implement service improvements and ensure a consistently exceptional Sephora client experience that surprises and retains customers.
  • Prepare and communicate performance recaps and operational reports to Area Managers and internal stakeholders; participate in retail projects and maintain strong partner relations.

Qualifications

  • Completed studies or vocational training, ideally with a retail focus.
  • Minimum 3 years of retail experience; 4–5 years preferred — experience in the beauty sector is an advantage.
  • Proven management experience with a demonstrable coaching and people‑development approach.
  • Commercially and analytically minded, able to interpret retail KPIs and translate them into actionable plans.
  • Strong leadership, delegation and communication skills with a structured, solution‑oriented work style.
  • Good command of English and Danish (native or equivalent).
  • Basic knowledge of SAP and Excel is an advantage.

Experience

Minimum 3 years in retail, with prior supervisory responsibility; 4–5 years’ retail experience and previous beauty sector experience are strongly preferred. Demonstrable track record of meeting sales targets and developing teams.

Education

Completed secondary or tertiary studies or vocational training; retail-focused training preferred.
