Sephora is seeking a Commercial Law Legal Intern for a six-month internship starting in January 2027, based in Neuilly-sur-Seine with hybrid working. The intern will support the global legal team on contracts, supplier relationships, regulatory monitoring, real estate assets and litigation, working in French and English.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist the lawyers in the Legal Department – Real Estate, Supply Chain and Environment with day-to-day matters across global operations, including contract law, transport and logistics law, real estate law and environmental law.
- Draft and/or review confidentiality agreements, conventions and other contracts in French and English.
- Help monitor supplier relationships and associated portfolios.
- Conduct cross-functional research and monitor regulations, including the AGEC laws, Climate and Resilience laws, and the European Green Deal.
- Conduct legal monitoring and prepare legal notes and internal materials in French and English.
- Help monitor and manage Sephora’s real estate assets.
- Help monitor litigation and pre-litigation matters, particularly in commercial lease law.
Qualifications
- Be a trainee lawyer or hold a Master 2 degree in business law.
- Have initial successful professional experience.
- Be fluent in spoken and written English.
- Demonstrate excellent writing skills, strong synthesis skills and rigour.
- Be dynamic, responsive, curious, highly organised and autonomous, with the ability to take initiative.
- Have strong interpersonal skills and a genuine interest in teamwork.
