Sephora Cashier position in São Paulo at Shopping Iguatemi Faria Lima. Full-time, on-site role focused on cash handling, customer service, and retail operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute all cash handling procedures and point-of-sale transactions with accuracy and efficiency, including gift wrapping and packaging
- Greet and serve all customers with enthusiasm according to Sephora service protocols, engaging appropriately during transaction completion
- Process returns, exchanges, and employee transactions in a positive manner whilst adhering to approval protocols
- Maintain cleanliness and organization standards at the checkout area and assist in backstage maintenance including stock, storage, and facilities
- Communicate supply needs to supervisors and participate in inventory control of packaging materials, bags, gifts, and labels
- Perform opening and closing cash procedures daily, including price adjustments and cancellations where authorized
- Complete My Sephora Learning training modules and seek additional training opportunities; assist in training new cashiers
- Provide basic product and store information to customers, encourage satisfaction survey participation, and maintain awareness of special events and merchandise displays
- Adhere to all Sephora policies, procedures, sample protocols, and safety standards whilst supporting cost reduction initiatives
Qualifications
- Secondary education or equivalent
- Clear verbal communication with customers and colleagues
- Ability to operate point-of-sale systems
- Basic computer literacy (desirable)
- Prior cash handling experience (desirable)
- Availability and scheduling flexibility
- Strict adherence to dress code standards
- Consistent and reliable attendance
- Logical reasoning and organizational abilities
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of work experience, preferably including prior cashier or retail point-of-sale operations.
Education
Secondary education (Ensino Médio) or equivalent qualification.
