Sephora seeks a Category Manager (CDD) in Neuilly‑sur‑Seine — hybrid role managing brand assortments, launches and trade activation across channels.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and implement the operational marketing strategy for the assigned category across assortment, merchandising, promotion, communication and pricing.
- Manage a portfolio of brands across all distribution channels: monitor commercial performance of the banner, brands, segments and new launches.
- Develop and execute trade plans and launch plans for new products, coordinating timelines and deliverables with trade, purchasing, supply chain and commercial negotiation teams.
- Optimise category visibility on digital channels and manage web merchandising initiatives with e-merchandising, animation and logistics teams.
- Plan and manage promotional operations and ensure clear communication with the store network (regional managers and stores) using internal channels.
- Implement and track action plans and the validated budget; contribute to supplier joint-business plans to reach sales and margin targets.
- Facilitate cross-functional coordination between Animation, Purchasing and Supply to ensure strong in-store execution and propose corrective actions where necessary.
Qualifications
- Open to recent graduates; first professional experience in operational marketing, category management or trade marketing preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to cross‑functional work.
- Strong analytical capacity, commercial mindset and affinity for numerical analysis.
- Organised, rigorous and autonomous with an ability to synthesise complex information.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills; SAP experience is a plus.

Entry-level role; open to recent graduates. A first experience (internship or 1–2 years) in operational marketing, category management or a retail/commercial function is advantageous.

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, commerce or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
