Role & Responsibilities
- Build and manage the marketing mix including assortment, pricing, promotions, and product animation while considering market developments and consumer behavior.
- Scout and manage new product launches and new brands with a comprehensive 360° plan including in-store setup, pricing, promotion, and communication.
- Coordinate and support other departments in implementing strategies through clear sales guidelines.
- Develop innovative animations and local big ideas to differentiate within the market.
- Establish trust relationships and co-create strategies with brands.
- Pilot brand sell-in, sell-out, and stock in monthly forecasts in collaboration with the Negotiation team, Supply Chain, and Finance.
- Negotiate with suppliers to maximize their support in store operations.
- Analyze data (sales, consumer, market reports) to derive insights for building category strategies.
- Manage and empower the Category team.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Category Coordinator or in a similar role.
- Strong financial skills and commercial focus.
- Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Experience in managing new product launches and developing 360° plans.
- Ability to build and maintain trust relationships with brands and suppliers.
- Leadership skills to manage and empower the Category team.
