Sephora seeks an experienced Category Manager for Care across Europe. Lead strategy, brand partnerships, and portfolio performance in this permanent hybrid role based in Neuilly-sur-Seine.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and implement operational marketing strategy for the Care category across the European region, encompassing assortment, merchandising, promotion, communication, and pricing
- Analyze market trends and consumer purchasing behaviors to establish Sephora's priorities and attract customers to the brand portfolio
- Set clear business objectives for the portfolio including revenue targets, growth, profitability, and market share
- Identify new products, segments, and emerging brands; optimize assortment according to distribution channels and brand performance
- Manage essential KPIs including sales, product rotation, profitability, and inventory depreciation
- Develop and implement 360-degree launch plans for new products in collaboration with internal teams (Marketing, Supply Chain, Procurement) and market teams
- Conduct monthly budget monitoring and anticipate corrective actions across the four pillars of the marketing mix
- Maintain and strengthen strategic relationships with partner brands; co-construct activation plans, product launches, and exclusive offerings
- Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at maximizing visibility and performance of the brand portfolio, including multi-brand destination initiatives
- Provide monthly and ongoing reporting to the Care Group manager on portfolio performance and strategic initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree minimum (Master's degree preferred) from a university or business school, specializing in Marketing or Commerce
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in marketing, purchasing, category management, or business development
- International professional profile with fluency in English (mandatory)
- Demonstrated expertise in category management and brand portfolio development
- Strong understanding of retail operations, merchandising strategies, and omnichannel distribution models

Minimum 3 years of professional experience in marketing, purchasing, category management, or related business development roles within retail, beauty, or consumer goods sectors. International experience is valued; demonstrated success in managing multi-brand portfolios or category performance in a regulated or dynamic market environment is advantageous.
Education
Bachelor's degree minimum from a university or business school with specialization in Marketing or Commerce. Master's degree or equivalent professional qualification is preferred.
