Sephora Düsseldorf is hiring a Category Management Intern (Internship) starting 1 May — support promotions, assortment analysis and supplier relations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the category management team in developing promotion and sales strategies to maximize revenue and margin.
- Analyse promotions and sales performance using quantitative metrics; prepare regular reports and dashboards.
- Collaborate with brand partners and assist in managing the supplier onboarding and order processes.
- Assess the current product assortment and contribute to decisions on range optimisation and product lifecycle management.
- Prepare presentations and data-driven recommendations for internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Participate in ad hoc commercial projects, market scans and competitor benchmarking to inform assortment and promotional planning.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics or a comparable field with at least three completed semesters.
- Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
- Strong numerical aptitude and analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Excellent communication, presentation and organisational skills.
- Available to start on or around 1 May and able to commit to a full-time internship (hybrid working arrangement).

Experience
Entry-level internship targeted at students; some prior exposure to marketing, retail merchandising or category management is advantageous but not mandatory.
Education
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's programme in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics or a related field; minimum of three completed semesters.
