Sephora seeks a full-time Cashier at Shopping Eldorado, São Paulo — on-site retail role focused on POS operations and customer service.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Execute accurate and efficient cash handling and point-of-sale transactions, including openings, closings and daily reconciliations.
  • Deliver Sephora-standard customer service: greet customers, complete sales, handle returns/exchanges and provide basic product and store information.
  • Package merchandise appropriately, perform gift wrapping and ensure presentation standards at the checkout area are maintained.
  • Support store operations and backstage maintenance (stockroom, lockers, kitchen, restrooms) and assist in inventory control of consumables (bags, packaging, labels).
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including security, sample handling and LVMH code of ethics and conduct.
  • Communicate supply needs and operational issues to the store Supervisor or Manager and assist in cost-control initiatives without compromising service quality.
  • Complete required My Sephora Learning trainings and contribute to the onboarding of new cashiers as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum secondary education (high school diploma or equivalent).
  • Minimum 3 years of retail or cashier experience; experience in beauty or luxury retail is preferred.
  • Demonstrated cash handling accuracy and familiarity with POS operations.
  • Strong verbal communication, customer-service orientation and organizational skills.
  • Basic computer literacy and willingness to undertake continuous training.
  • Availability and flexibility to work retail hours; adherence to Sephora dress code and professional standards.
