Sephora — Cashier in São Paulo (Shopping Center Norte). Deliver exceptional customer service and manage point-of-sale operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute accurate and efficient point-of-sale transactions, including gift-wrapping and employee transactions, following Sephora cash-handling procedures.
- Perform opening and closing cash procedures, handle returns/exchanges and process cancellations or price adjustments with required managerial approval.
- Greet and engage customers enthusiastically, deliver Sephora-standard customer service and provide basic product and store information.
- Maintain checkout area presentation and cleanliness; support backstage upkeep (stockroom, lockers, kitchen and restrooms).
- Participate in inventory and supplies control (bags, packaging, labels) and communicate replenishment needs to the Supervisor.
- Ensure compliance with sample distribution policies and awareness of in-store merchandising and promotional events.
- Complete mandatory My Sephora Learning trainings and assist in onboarding and training new cashiers.
- Adhere to Sephora and LVMH code of ethics and conduct; contribute to a safe, organized and cost-conscious retail environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous cashier or retail checkout experience desirable.
- Demonstrable customer-service and communication skills.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with point-of-sale systems preferred.
- Availability and schedule flexibility to meet store needs; adherence to company dress code.

Entry-level. Prior experience as a cashier or in retail customer-facing roles is desirable but not mandatory.
