Role & Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all customer service policies and procedures as outlined by Sephora.
  • Greet and assist customers with enthusiasm, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Accurately and efficiently process transactions, including gift wrapping and handling returns/exchanges.
  • Engage customers in appropriate conversation during transactions and provide basic store and product information.
  • Encourage customer participation in satisfaction surveys.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the cashier area and assist with backstage standards.
  • Execute all Sephora policies and procedures, striving for excellence in assigned tasks.
  • Communicate supply needs to the Supervisor and ensure compliance with sample policies.
  • Assist in reducing company expenses without compromising service and standards.
  • Complete daily cashier and operational functions, including opening and closing procedures.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a cashier is desirable.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Skills

Customer service and communication skills. Logical reasoning. Basic computer skills are desirable. Ability to operate a point-of-sale system.

Experience

Previous experience in handling cash and operating a cash register is desirable.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent.
