Role & Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all customer service policies and procedures as outlined by Sephora.
  • Greet and assist all customers with enthusiasm, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Accurately and efficiently process transactions, including gift wrapping and handling returns/exchanges.
  • Engage customers in appropriate conversations during transactions.
  • Provide basic store and product information to customers as needed.
  • Encourage customer participation in satisfaction surveys.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the cashier area.
  • Assist in maintaining backstage standards, including stockrooms and employee areas.
  • Execute all Sephora policies and procedures with precision.
  • Contribute to store safety standards and communicate area needs to the Supervisor.
  • Ensure compliance with sample policies and assist in reducing company expenses without compromising service.
  • Complete daily cashier and operational functions, including opening and closing procedures.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a cashier is desirable.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Skills

Customer service, communication, and organizational skills. Logical reasoning. Experience with cash handling is desirable. Basic computer skills are desirable.
