Sephora in Rio de Janeiro seeks a Cashier to manage POS transactions and deliver exceptional client service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute accurate, efficient point-of-sale transactions including cash handling, returns, exchanges and employee transactions in accordance with Sephora procedures.
- Deliver warm, knowledgeable customer service at checkout; engage customers appropriately and provide basic product and store information.
- Maintain cashier area and packaging standards, including gift wrapping and presentation of purchased goods.
- Adhere to store policies, security procedures and LVMH code of ethics; contribute to store safety and loss-prevention measures.
- Support store operations: monitor supply needs (bags, packaging, labels), assist in backstage upkeep (stockroom, lockers, staff areas) and communicate needs to the supervisor.
- Participate in My Sephora Learning training, seek additional training as needed, and assist in onboarding and coaching new cashiers.
- Contribute as a motivated team member to maintain an organized, customer-focused store environment and to help control company expenses without compromising service standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in cashier or retail point-of-sale roles; prior cash-handling experience desirable.
- Proven customer-service aptitude with strong verbal communication and organizational skills.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to operate a POS system.
- Availability and flexibility for retail shifts; adherence to company dress code and professional standards.
- Commitment to teamwork, proactivity, willingness to learn, and alignment with Sephora/LVMH values.

Experience
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a cashier or retail role with demonstrable cash-handling and POS operation experience; prior experience in beauty retail is advantageous.
Education
