Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver consummate customer service at the point of sale, greeting customers, completing transactions accurately and promoting store initiatives in accordance with Sephora procedures.
- Execute all cash-handling duties and POS operations with precision, including opening and closing cash procedures, refunds/exchanges and employee transactions (subject to manager approval).
- Maintain exceptional store presentation standards at the checkout area and contribute to backstage orderliness (stockroom, lockers, staff areas).
- Manage packaging and gift-wrapping to Sephora standards and ensure correct handling of promotional samples and merchandising events.
- Participate in inventory control for consumables (bags, packaging, labels) and communicate replenishment needs to the Supervisor.
- Adhere rigorously to Sephora and LVMH codes of conduct, security procedures and company policies; support cost‑control initiatives without compromising service quality.
- Complete mandatory training modules via My Sephora Learning and assist in onboarding and training new cashiers.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant retail or cashiering experience.
- Demonstrable competence in cash handling and point-of-sale operations.
- Clear verbal communication and customer‑facing skills; ability to engage customers appropriately during transactions.
- Availability and schedule flexibility; adherence to company dress code and behavioural standards.
