Sephora in Maceió, Brazil seeks a full-time Cashier to manage POS transactions, cash handling and exceptional customer service.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Execute cash register operations with speed and accuracy, including openings, closings, cancellations and employee transactions, adhering strictly to Sephora procedures.
  • Provide enthusiastic, consistent customer service at point of sale; greet clients, complete transactions, offer basic product/store information and encourage participation in customer satisfaction surveys.
  • Manage returns and exchanges professionally and in accordance with store policy; package purchases appropriately, including gift wrapping.
  • Maintain presentation and cleanliness standards in the till area and contribute to backstage order (stockrooms, staff areas, restrooms).
  • Control and report inventory of consumables (bags, packaging, tags), communicating supply needs to the supervisor.
  • Comply with sample handling policies and store security procedures; actively support cost-control initiatives without compromising service standards.
  • Participate in required training (My Sephora Learning) and assist in onboarding and training new cashiers.
  • Operate collaboratively within the store team, respecting colleagues and representing LVMH’s code of ethics and conduct.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum three years’ experience in cashiering or retail sales preferred.
  • Prior experience handling cash and operating a point-of-sale terminal is desirable.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and customer-service orientation.
  • Availability and flexibility to work retail hours; adherence to store dress code.

Experience
