Sephora in Goiânia is hiring a Cashier to manage POS transactions, cash handling and customer service in a full-time retail role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute accurate, efficient point-of-sale (POS) transactions including cash handling, card payments, gift receipts and employee transactions in accordance with Sephora procedures.
- Provide enthusiastic, brand-consistent customer service: greet customers, answer basic product and store queries, engage appropriately during transactions and encourage participation in satisfaction surveys.
- Process returns, exchanges and cancellations following company policy and escalate price adjustments or exceptions to the Store Manager or Supervisor for approval.
- Maintain pristine presentation and organisation of the checkout area and contribute to backstage upkeep (stockroom, lockers, staff areas, etc.).
- Support inventory of consumables (bags, gift wrap, labels) and communicate replenishment needs to the Supervisor.
- Adhere to security, sample and cash-control policies to protect store assets and ensure compliance with LVMH code of conduct.
- Complete mandatory training modules (My Sephora Learning) and assist in onboarding and training new cashiers when required.
- Assist with ad hoc store operations tasks as directed to support a smooth customer journey and cost-control initiatives without compromising service standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a cashier or in retail customer-facing roles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proven customer-service skills with clear verbal communication and a client-focused approach.
- Comfortable handling cash and performing POS operations accurately.
- Basic computer literacy; ability to learn proprietary retail systems and e-learning modules.
- Flexible availability and adherence to the store dress code and operational standards.

Entry-level role; prior cashier or retail experience is desirable but candidates with strong customer-service aptitude and basic cash-handling skills will be considered.
