Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and inspire Beauty Advisors to deliver exemplary customer service and adhere to Sephora’s operational standards.
  • Provide ongoing cash-handling training to elevate till accuracy, safe management and payment confidence across the team.
  • Manage all cash operations including tills, reconciliations, safe management, deposits and daily audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Conduct performance check-ins, set goals, create personalised development plans and manage employee relations matters (attendance, performance follow-up).
  • Analyse cash-related KPIs, identify improvement opportunities and implement action plans to raise operational performance.
  • Implement and enforce loss-prevention procedures and company policies to maintain a secure retail environment.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and introduce process improvements to increase productivity and reduce risk.
  • Troubleshoot IT and payment-related issues to ensure seamless point-of-sale operations.
  • Maintain store standards for cleanliness, organisation and visual presentation and monitor replenishment of key stock lines.
  • Support new store opening activities where applicable, including stock unboxing, organisation and preparation.

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership experience in retail with demonstrable responsibility for cash operations and financial controls.
  • Strong customer-service orientation with the ability to build rapport across diverse client and team profiles.
  • Demonstrable coaching and team-development capability, including conducting performance reviews and development planning.
  • Experience handling employee relations issues professionally, including attendance and performance management.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience using KPIs to drive operational improvements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at store level.
  • Organised with strong time-management skills and the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays as required by retail trading patterns.

Experience

Minimum 3 years of retail leadership experience with direct responsibility for cash handling, reconciliations and front-line team management.
